Description

The Foxboro Series 83F Vortex Flowmeters are useable on liquids, gases, and steam, and can be used in Hazardous Area Locations. Foxboro’s patented family of vortex flowmeters has the high accuracy and rangeability of positive displacement and turbine flowmeters without the mechanical complexity and high cost. Calibrated flow rangeability is 15:1 (with a useful range as high as 40:1 in liquids and 100:1 in gasses and steam) compared to 3:1 for a differential pressure producer.
